Shop Coop was incubated and developed by the non-profit cooperative developer WORCS: Worker Ownership Resources and Cooperative Services to support worker cooperatives by creating the first comprehensive e-commerce site that only sells items produced by worker cooperatives. The worker cooperative economy in North America is growing and the growing demand to support them as an alternative to non democratic workplaces is becoming a reality. To help those who want to spend their money on items to grow this economic sector we have created Shop Coop as that outlet.
